Janice Milne
Hi, I’m Janice Milne and I have worked at MOOSCC for over 7 years now.
I have 20 years plus in the childcare sector mostly in primary schools. I completed my SVQ level 3, Social Service, Children and Young People qualification in 2021 and level 4 in 2022. It was great, I could study whilst working. I continue to participate in up-to-date training and courses required for the job I do.
I have progressed from a support worker role to that of a Senior Practitioner which I enjoy immensely. I like to get the children’s input, what they would like to make or eat, I enjoy searching for new initiatives in the sector such as visiting and including our community.
I love working with your children and the variety each day brings. It’s great to research new crafts or activities to try at club.
I have two grown up children of my own and in my spare time I take my sprocker spaniel, Heidi out for long walks. She volunteers as a Therapet and we visit various schools and settings each week.
In my spare time I enjoy meeting friends and family for coffee and a chat.
Lesley Henderson
Hi I’m Lesley. I started working at MOOSCC in January 2026. I live locally and have a grown-up daughter.
I have over 25 years’ experience of working in the childcare and education sector, both in primary and early years, and hold a BA in Childhood Practice which has encouraged me to stay up to date with current practice and thinking as well as guidance and legislation, which all support my role.
I love getting to know the children and finding out their interests to help support their learning and development, as well as fostering a sense of well-being by helping them feel safe, secure and happy. I am looking forward to developing positive relationships not only with the children but also with families and the MOOSCC team.
In my spare time I enjoy being out and about walking my daughter’s dog. When I’m at home I enjoy gardening as well as trying out new recipes, and in the evening, I like to crochet.

Irene Neil
Hi I’m Irene,
I have become a part of the MOOSCC team in March 22 and I love it.
I’m in breakfast and afterschool club every day and I currently work in a nursery as an early years support worker. During this time I have also completed my SVQ 2.
I love working with children and interacting in many different ways with them.
My hobbies are walking, baking, enjoy arts and crafts and socialising with my friends.

Jordana Guzman
Hi, I am Jordana.
Before I lived in the UK, I grew up in Mexico, where I had my own nursery with my business partner before coming to live to London with my husband. In London I also worked as a nanny for different families that I am still in touch with.
I love working with kids, seeing them developing and becoming independent. I started working at MOOSCC in October 2022 and I am currently doing SVQ level 3.

Lucy Farnan
Hi! I’m Lucy and I have worked in MOOSCC since October 2022.
After completing my previous college course in health and social care, I was looking for the next step in my life, something fun yet challenging.
After spending 7 years in the RAF Air Cadets, I decided that a career in children and young people was the place for me. MOOSCC has allowed me to gain hands on experience working with children of all ages, including all of the tricky yet loveable challenges that come along the way.
Recently I have also progressed to the role of Practitioner within MOOSCC..
When I’m not at the club, I’m with my friends, or running after my dog, Nelly!

Lucy Kleppang
Hi I’m Lucy K,
I am currently studying psychology at University in Dundee. I have been working at MOOSCC since June 2022 after finishing high school and have loved it ever since. Working with the kids and seeing them grow is a very rewarding job. I particularly enjoy doing the crafts with them, as that was a big interest of mine during school and love teaching them any skills I have learnt. It’s great fun especially during the holidays with the trips and visitors and the kids never fail to give you a laugh. In my free time I like to paint, spend time with my 4 cute dogs and hanging out with my friends.

Nathan Lynch
Hi I’m Nathan,
I am one of two practitioners here. I have been working at MOOSCC since August 2023 and I love it. Since then, I completed my SVQ Level 3 qualification in Social Service, Children and Young People in 2025. It was great to apply what I was learning to my work. I continue to keep myself up to date with training courses applicable to my job.
Before joining MOOSCC I coached Grange Primary’s football team, gave PE lessons to primary classes as part of my sports leadership course, and my work as house captain for my school meant I was always getting younger pupils involved with events at school. Therefore, I saw MOOSCC as the perfect fit and opportunity for me to develop my skills and career.
I really enjoy working here. Doing my best to start and end your kid’s days with a smile is really fulfilling .
In my free time I play football, keep fit and play music.

Georgia Kleppang
Hi, my name is Georgia.
I started working at MOOSCC as I hope to become a Primary School teacher and I felt that this job would give me lots of experience with working with children, and I was right! Seeing the children grow in confidence all the time is truly inspiring and it’s a very rewarding feeling knowing that I can support the children as they grow up, and I have had so much fun.
I am currently doing my HNC in Childhood Practice at college which involves my SVQ Level 3. I’m hoping to go to University next year to study Primary Teaching as the next step of my journey in this field.
During my free time, I love playing with my 4 little doggies and I also love art.

Ava Gardiner
Hi, my name is Ava. I started working at MOOSCC in February 2024.
I have really enjoyed my time at MOOSCC so far. One of my favourite things about working at MOOSCC is being able to do arts and crafts with the children. In my spare time, I like to draw, listen to music and spend time with my friends and my sister. I’m currently doing my SVQ 3 in Social services, Children and Young people. After I’ve completed this, I would love to be able to go to university for Art and Design or Education as I would like to be an art teacher in the near future.
Mollie Richardson
Hi, I’m Mollie. I started working at MOOSCC in June 2025. I’ve loved working here so far. My favourite activity to do with the kids is arts and crafts. In my spare time, I like to make jewellery, cook, and spend time with my friends. I love having fun with the kids outside and showing them new skills and crafts.
I left school in 2022, one of my subjects was advanced higher art. I continued my studies at college and I would love to be an art therapist. I know how much art helped me when I was younger. I would love to show children how healing art can be.
Ruth Rooney
Hi my name is Ruth. I started working at MOOSCC in August 2025 after attaining an HNC in Childhood Practice. Prior to this I attended university in Aberdeen and in my employment I took part in an education research project.
I have three adult children and my eldest has autism. This has given me extensive experience and knowledge of this condition. I also worked in an Additional Support Needs school for children aged 5-18 in Stonehaven. I enjoy working with all the children here and taking part in their activities.
I moved to Monifieth in November 2024 and love living so close to the sea. I love the outdoors and have many hobbies and interests. The main ones are are photography, wild swimming, camping and travelling.
Alisha Akhtar
Hi, my name is Alisha.
I started working at MOOSCC in October 2025 and I have loved the job so much since. I am currently doing my NC in Childhood Practice at College and then I’m hoping to do my HNC. Once I do that I will further my studies by going to university to become a Primary Teacher.
One of the reasons I decided to start working at MOOSCC is I love working with children and I felt this would be something I would enjoy while also gaining experience. This will be great and give me a bit of insight into becoming a Primary Teacher. I have also done plenty of work experience across Dundee and Monifieth primary schools as I find it helpful to see all the different ways teachers teach and help children but also by doing this I got to meet so many new people which has helped me grow my confidence while helping others with theirs.
In my free time I enjoy watching movies, baking, listening to music and spending time with my friends and family.
Dani Sloan
Hi, my name is Dani. I work full-time as a senior support worker with adults. I wanted to join MOOSCC to gain more experience working with children, mainly because in February 2024 I volunteered in Kenya working with children and I loved the experience. I started on an ad hoq basis in Sept 2025 and the shifts fit in well with my other commitments.
I have my SVQ health and social care and will be doing another qualification specific to my jobs in the near future. I also have training in first aid, epilepsy and enjoy further development for myself which benefits my different roles.
In my spare time I like going to the gym, keeping active; and love reading a good book. I also have my own little baking business which I love doing.
If I’m not doing any of the above I like to be outdoors for walks or horse riding.
