Booking Policy for Parents

Bookings must be made on a completed booking form submitted at least one week in advance by e-mail (preferred method) or by hand.

Bookings will be accepted in blocks for each school term

E-mail and paper bookings will be processed in the order they are received. There are several reasons for this rule, including

  • Monifieth Out of School Care Club is bound by National Care Standard requirements which specify the minimum staff to child ratio.

  • In order for the Club to be correctly staffed it is imperative that bookings are made in advance.

Staff will accommodate bookings where possible but refusals may be necessary. We will, where possible, try to accommodate late bookings.

Payments are to be made in advance of the first booking date for any bookings submitted.

Cancellations

Term Time – including in-service days, elections, etc.

If your child is booked in but not attending MOOSCC, please inform the club at the earliest possibility in all circumstances.

Two weeks (14 days) notice must be provided for cancellations or the full fee must be paid. Extenuating circumstances may be taken into account and waiver of payment will be at the discretion of the committee. 

Holidays

If your child is not attending MOOSCC when booked, please inform the club by 10:00 am, at all times during holidays, as this may impact on any proposed activities planned.

Two weeks (14 days) notice must be provided for cancellations or the full fee must be paid unless we receive another booking for the date of the cancellation.

Bounced Cheques:

  • No further bookings will be accepted until all outstanding fees are paid

  • All future bookings will be paid for on a weekly basis in advance and payments to be made by BACS or Vouchers

  • No further cheque payments will be accepted.

Vouchers

Please ensure the value of vouchers matches the bookings you are paying for.

In the unlikely event you have a credit balance which will not be used, MOOSCC will only refund this directly to your employer.

Bank transfers

MOOSCC accepts payment of fees directly to our bank account either by bank transfer or standing order. Full details are available from MOOSCC staff.

Cash Payments

MOOSCC will no longer be accepting any CASH payments. This is for the security and safety of the staff and in full agreement by the Committee on 1st Oct 2017.
